Marketing & Communications
What image does your practice portray?
What message are you communicating to your customers?
Is
your message actually reaching your customers?
To ensure the success of your marketing efforts you should begin with a clear understanding of your market, your customer and your practice. Your strategy should also include a memorable brand, a targeted message, constant communication, and results tracking. Marketing begins with your image.
Your image,
communicated through your brochure, patient education materials, web site
and media coverage will aid your target audience in identifying with your

Private hand and upper extremity practice repositions
itself; patient volume grows by 34%
Situation:
An occupational and certified hand/upper extremity therapy practice had three
goals. First, the practice wanted to increase awareness of the fact that it
delivered comprehensive care of the entire upper quadrant. Second, it wanted
to solidify its reputation as the premier hand/upper extremity therapy practice
in a competitive market. Third, it needed to increase patient volume to maximize
revenues.
Strategy:
FourPoint Consulting re-branded the practice, and developed a communications
platform to connect with referring physicians. Using direct mail, personal
contact, ongoing communication and attention to detail, FourPoint positioned
the practice as providing the most effective and skilled treatment in a caring
and professional environment. FourPoint managed the referral development strategy
and trained key staff members to maximize new business leads.
Results:
Because of this marketing strategy, the medical community and the media recognized
the practice as an expert in the field of rehabilitative therapy. Over the
course of 12 months, the 43 new physicians were referring to the practice,
new patient volume increased by 34% and the practice expanded to four locations.
